The Amphitheatre

My initial idea for the amphitheatre was that it would have a square stage, however, I found that if I had a semi-circular stage it would be a lot better, especially if the seats that surrounded it was tiered seating so that everyone regardless of how far away seated they are will be able to enjoy the performance.
Instead of the existing circular seating, I’m going to change it into 3/4, this allows for more people to be seated and a much better viewing of the stage.
I plan to create a roof for the audience seats so that if it’s too sunny or it rains it won’t effect their enjoyment. For this, I plan to use shade sails as they are easy to remove and put back on. For the stage I decided to put a permanent roof, the problem now is that I’m still struggling to come up with a design for it.
Initially, I planned to add concrete walls behind the stage so that the noise would bounce back into the venue and it would decrease the noise from travelling through the park so that it won’t disturb visitors, but Ms Sin Ai recommended that I use bamboo as a substitute of concrete. After some research, I found that bamboo has a lot of benefits such as the fact that since it’s a plant, it benefits the environment as it releases 35% more oxygen into the air, it is also easy and cheap to maintain.
