Frustrations In Acting

With only 1 week to rehearse everything, we cut to the chase and started rehearsing instead of pondering about the plot and props. Our roles were simple enough as a few people were the main characters while everyone else were just filler for the background. That’s something I wish could’ve been better, that everyone could interact more with the plot. But because we were rushing, we stuck with what we had already decided.

Initially, I was excited for this attempt because I was certain that it would be better than before. However, I eventually felt that it wasn’t any better. The passion that everyone put into the performance just wasn’t the same as before. There were times when we wondered if we should’ve stuck with the previous attempt as this would be a waste of our time, but we still decided to finish it as we had already told the lecturers we would redo.
